Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act

UTS offers the following services in conjunction with asbestos-containing building materials:

 

1. Review of existing AHERA programs for compliance.

2. Provide recommendations for meeting regulatory responsibilities.

3. Collection of bulk ACBM samples in accordance with EPA and AHERA guidelines.

4. Submit bulk samples to an accredited laboratory for analysis.

5. Prepare report of findings including  documentation as required under AHERA and by Safe State.

6. Review and update the previously prepared Asbestos Management Plan and the Operations & Maintenance Plans with the findings of the UTS inspection.
